We feel so fortunate that our daughter Natalie had the opportunity to attend Julie Olsen's Place for two years. It was the perfect mix of socialization, exploration and academics. Our family could not be happier with Julie Olsen’s Place. From the first time I met Julie, I knew we shared the same philosophy on kids and early education. As a certified teacher with years of experience and a mom—Julie is the best preschool teacher we could ask for and our daughter adores her. The learning, level of play and adventures that Julie orchestrates are making my daughter’s introduction to school so positive and fun. I love how she is learning letters and numbers and all those things that get her ready for kindergarten, but she is also learning how to be a good friend, play with others and enjoy school. The balance is so important which is why Julie Olsen’s Place is the absolute best decision we have made for our daughter.

All three of my boys have attended school with Julie (3s) and Carrie (Pre-K). I cannot imagine a program out there that cares more and spends more time targeting the best learning methods to get kids ready for school. Both Julie and Carrie are loving, educated in early childhood teaching, and focused on challenging their students (in a good way!). The kids get plenty of outdoor time, art and free play, as well. They teach pre-reading skills (rhyming, phonics), handwriting and use many creative approaches to teaching math. My boys and I have made life long friendships at our neighborhood school. I highly recommend Julie Olsen’s Place.

My son thrived at Julie Olsen's Place for 2 years. He loved going to school and was excited every day to see his teachers and his friends. I felt very reassured that he was learning the appropriate content as well as having his emotional needs met. Our son Michael attended Julie’s preschool and loved it. We highly recommend this preschool because it is a loving place—lots of love from Miss Julie and Miss Carrie. You can feel the genuine love and care the minute you enter the school. Kids enjoy the happy atmosphere and the level of the caring and attention from each teacher. Our son loved the school, the teachers and friends. He thinks this is the happiest school on earth and he always wants to go back.

Whether it's your first child or your fourth (we have four), there is no perfect word to describe the feeling of dropping off your child with a stranger for their first day of preschool: excited, nervous, worried, hopeful. We felt incredibly grateful to find Julie's Place after the neighborhood school we had sent our older children to closed down just before it was time for our last child to attend. What a difference! Your child will greet you with GIANT smiles and enthusiasm at pick up. You will feel confident in your first school decision, and most importantly, you will not worry about your child's safety or welfare. Both teachers (Miss Julie and Miss Carrie) are as rigorous about instruction (both emotional and social) as they are fun, energetic and caring. My husband and I give Julie Olsen’s Place big thumbs up!
